Pops Racer
Pops Racer is an automotive engineer and designed and built the Mach 5. He is father to Speed, Spritle and Rex. His personality is loud and overbearing, but is still a caring man.
Pops was also a former wrestling champion of the Westside Grunters and Groaners Club, and frequently uses his fighting skills to battle the villains that frequently threaten Team Racer.
In the live action Speed Racer (2008) movie Pops Racer will be played by John Goodman.
